Carol Jeanette Krause, age 71 of Shawano, went to heaven on June 10, 2019. She was the youngest of four children, born to Clarence and Myrtle (Jeske) Kuhn on May 14, 1948. Carol graduated with the Shawano High School class of 1966. Carol was united in marriage to Lyle J. Krause on October 15, 1966 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Carol was a devoted wife to Lyle.

Carol's hobbies consisted of interior decorating, gardening and meticulous yardwork. Carol, with Lyle, proudly served St. Martin's congregation as caretakers of the building and grounds for over 50 years. She enjoyed time with her bowling league and going out to eat with her bowling "retiree" friends. She enjoyed taking short trips, as she wanted to stay close to her loving pets.

Carol is survived by: her husband, Lyle; her brother, Gerald "Jerry" Kuhn of Shawano; her sister, Diann (Clarence) Schroeder of Clintonville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Clarance and Myrtle Kuhn, and one brother, Donald Kuhn.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2019 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with the Rev. Kurt Kluge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
