Carol M. Peterman, age 79 of Black Creek, passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2011 at Good Shepherd in Seymour. Born on July 28, 1932 in Algoma, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Edna (Prust) LaCrosse. Carol grew up in the Algoma area and graduated from Algoma High School. On October 20, 1956 she was united in marriage to Maynard R. Peterman in Algoma. Carol was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek. In her free time she enjoyed doing needlework, embroidery, crocheting and bowling. She also liked taking trips up north to Pickerel Lake. Carol is survived by: her husband of 55 years, Maynard; 2 daughters, Sharon Haws of Green Bay, Kathleen Peterman of Kaukauna; a son Richard (Candyce) Peterman of Cecil; 4 grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Haws, Lisa and Brandon Ashman; and 2 sisters-in-law, Mavis Stark and Lois (Roger) Nelson. Carol was preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother-in-law, Earl Stark. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek with Father Henricks officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay. Family and friends may call at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Friday from 4-8pm and at the church on Saturday after 10am until the time of the service.
