Caroline Dolores Caldwell, age 78, of Neopit, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021.  Caroline was born on April 28, 1943, to the late Ernest and Louise (Waupoose) Wayka, Sr.  She was united in marriage to Rollan Caldwell in July of 1957, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. She loved to play poker, two card, Euchre, dice, and go to the casinos in her spare time. She loved to watch the Packers, Brewers and do puzzles. She always liked to be surrounded by family and friends. She had a special friend in her life of 19 years, Francis "Sonny" Dick who made her happy.

Caroline is survived by: her children, Joseph (Mimi) Caldwell, Elmiria Waubano, Virginia (Curtis) Crow, Mary Ann Caldwell, Janice Smith, Rollan (Jacqui) Caldwell, Jr., Karen (Darwin) Madosh, Kerry (Jeffery) Wilber; very special children, Ivan Tucker, Cassandra Tucker, Jana Caldwell, Dolores Martin; sisters and brothers, Deneane (Miles) Tourtillott, Daniel Wayka, Sr., Richard Wayka, and Janel Wayka; and sister-in-law, Barb Wayka. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Rollan Caldwell, Sr.; daughter, Susan Tucker; parents, Ernest and Louise Wayka, Sr.; sons-in-law, Bernard Smith, Sr. and Leroy Waubano; sisters, Dorla (John) Boivin, Karen Wayka (Joe) Sackatook, and Deborah Wayka; brothers, Marvin Wayka, Sr., Curtis (Theona Pyawasit) Wayka, Sr., Myron Wayka, Sr., Johnny Wayka, Ronald Wayka, Daryl Wayka, Ernest Wayka, Jr.; grandsons, Jason Caldwell and Marlin Waupoose.

A funeral service for Caroline will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Father Hanz Christian will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at N2148 Nanackoh (Hickory Road) in Middle Village from 3:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021, until the time of the procession on Tuesday.
