Obituary

Ceil G. Bordeleau, 96, lifelong resident of Green Bay and Shawano, left this world on Friday evening, September 1, 2017, to meet her Lord and Savior, husband Don, son Duke, and family and friends in heaven. Born on August 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Minnie Williquette. Ceil was a graduate of West High School, class of 1940. Soon after, she was married to Donald Bordeleau on August 30, 1941, and enjoyed 62 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Ceil was the very image of compassion and love to everyone who met her, always sharing a laugh and smile and brightening the lives of all those around her. She was an avid lover of square dancing, camping, and all forms of arts and crafts; she used her gifts to knit afghan quilts and hats for newborn children, spreading her love through the warmth of her craft. She was a Packer fan, enjoyed crosswords and old fashioneds, and especially loved being surrounded by her family and grandchildren.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sandi and Russell Crawford of Shawano; 3 grandchildren: Lori (Randy) Kagerbauer of Shawano; Craig (Lisa) Crawford of Dubuque, Iowa; Amy (Mike) Garbelman of Shawano; seven great-grandchildren: Jessica (Tim) Sheldon; Jeremy (Angela) Duquaine; Kristin and Kyle Kagerbauer; Cole, Brandon, and Julia Crawford; 5 great-great-grandchildren: Michaela Monnier and Aubrey and Kaylee Sheldon; Ivy and Vivian Duquaine.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Donald; one son: Donald (Duke) Bordeleau; her three sisters: LaVerne (Bill) Suess, Joanne (Arnie) Vanden Boomen, Bernice (James) Baenen; her parents: Leslie and Minnie Williquette.
Private visitation and funeral services were held at Swedberg's Funeral Home with Father David Barrett officiating.
The family of Ceil Bordeleau would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of The Cottages on Golden Pond and the hospice workers of Southern Care Green Bay for their exceptional compassion and care.
You are forever and always with us, in our memories and in our hearts. Though you rise up now to heaven, with your love we will never part.
