Chance LaTender, age 24, of Keshena, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chance was born on March 26, 1995, in Green Bay, to MeShan (Beauprey) LaTender and the late Kenny J. LaTender. On April 20, 2015, Chance was united in marriage to Chelsey Haberl in Keshena. Chance loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers playing sports and video games, spending time with friends, the "occasional" pizza, and going for rides. Chance loved his 10 month old daughter dearly, she was his world.

Chance is survived by: his wife, Chelsey; his 10 month old daughter, Ellie Sarah LaTender; his mother, MeShan LaTender; his siblings, Richard Tourtillott, III, Ty (Jailene Reiter) LaTender, Dayton LaTender, and Connor LaTender; two nephews, Marcus John LaTender and Kenny Robert LaTender, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, William and Donna Beauprey; and paternal grandparents, Simon and Carol LaTender. He is further survived by close friends Calvin, Colin, Darius, numerous other friends, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny J. LaTender, his brother, Kenny R. LaTender, Sr., and his best friend, Scott Perez.

A funeral service will be held for Chance at 11:00 am, on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Simon and Carol LaTender residence at N886 Lyons Road in Keshena, beginning on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 5:00 pm until Thursday when the procession leaves for the church.
