Charlene Penny Brunke, age 61, passed away on Tuesday January 2, 2024, at her home in Shawano. Charlene was born on August 4, 1962, in Milwaukee to the late Robert and Rose (Turney) Brunke. She played softball in high school. Charlene was an avid Packer fan and loved sports of all kinds. She loved being in the water and swimming with her brother. She enjoyed working at Goodwill and Charlie's County Market in Shawano. Charlene enjoyed peace and quiet but enjoyed helping others.

Charlene is survived by her brother, Damon Brunke, Sister-in-law Holly Brunke, April Balsley, Jackie Goodwill, Mary Lou Blundell, Joy  and special friend, Carmen. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charlene is preceded in death by her siblings Al Robert Brunke, Joey Joseph Brunke and Denise Brunke; father, Robert Brunke; mother, Rose (Robert) Goodwill.

Private family services were held. Inurnment will be held at Neopit Cemetery in the spring.
