Charles Jacob "C.J." Franklin, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday May 1, 2024, in Shawano. C.J. was born on December 6, 1994, in San Antonio, Texas to Harold "Randy" and Shelly (Higdon) Franklin. He worked at American Metal Finishing in Green Bay, Wisconsin. C.J. loved to make and see others laugh. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, playing poker and fishing. C.J. was loved by his family and many friends; he will be dearly missed.

C.J. is survived by his mother, Shelly Higdon of Wisconsin; father, Randy Franklin of Kentucky; and brother, Clayton Lee Higdon of Kentucky. He is further survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of C.J.'s life is being planned for a later date.
