Charles A. "Chuck" Druckrey, 87, of Bonduel, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on Friday, September 18, 2015, at The Pines Assisted Living Facility in Pulaski. Chuck was born on May 20, 1928, to the late Albert and Alyce (Knutson) Druckrey. He married Romaine Graf on April 22, 1950. Chuck graduated from Bonduel High School and attended college at Marquette where he played quarterback on the football team. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Chuck was part owner of Texaco/Bonduel Oil Company, working there his entire career driving a bulk petroleum truck. He was extremely dedicated and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with all his customers. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his family. He always looked forward to visits from his grandchildren. For many years, Chuck was a loving caregiver for his wife, Romaine. His faith in God was evident by the kindness and care he showed his family, friends and others. He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, playing cards, hunting, fishing, family vacations, riding around the countryside, and especially golfing. Chuck was a huge Green Bay Packer, Chicago Cub, and Bonduel Bear fan. He was a longtime member of the Bonduel Lions Club and a volunteer with the fire department. Survivors include his five children, Nancy Bogacz, Pulaski, Pat (Terry) Kluz, Schofield, Doug (Geraldine) Druckrey, Bonduel, Lori (Al) Schwartz, Mequon, and Dave Druckrey, Bonduel; seven grandchildren, Dennis (Candice) Bogacz, Hilary (Ryan) Weaver, Jeff Druckrey, Laura (Brian) Witz, Jessica (Quinn) Felly, Amy and Rachel Schwartz; eight great grandchildren,Taylor and Brock Bogacz, Blake and Natalie Weaver, Sofie and Ethan Druckrey; Brenna and Madison Witz; one sister, Diane Vanden Brook; one sister-in-law, Norma Graf; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Romaine; one brother, Dale; two brothers-in-law, George Vanden Brook and Ronald Graf; one son-in-law, Don Bogacz and one granddaughter, Debbie Bogacz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Mark Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The family would like to thank all the staff at The Pines and Unity Hospice for the compassionate care given to Chuck.
