Charles H. "Chuck" West, age 80, of Bowler, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home. Chuck was born in Muncie, Indiana on December 24, 1937, the son of the late Clayton and Colois (Sewell) West.  On August 12, 1978, he was united in marriage to Doreen Tousey in Muncie, IN.  He enjoyed fishing and living off the land.  More than anything, Chuck loved having a big family and enjoyed taking care of his wife and children.

Chuck is survived by: his wife of 39 years, Doreen; 11 children that he influenced in his life, Gene, Adena, Garthia, Charles "Mike", Aaron, Charissa, Clayton, Russell, Angela, Stephan and Christina; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol (Greg) Huckabey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Odell; and one sister, Wanda.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Charles H. West residence in Bowler.
