Cheryl Ann "Cherry" LeBlanc, age 65, of Gresham passed on Wednesday September 24, 2025, in Appleton. Cheryl was born on November 12, 1959, in Shawano to the late Roger and Goldie (Bruette) Schreiber. She graduated from Shawano High School. In 1978, Cheryl was united in marriage to  her former husband Georgie K. LeBlanc. She went on to college in Chicago, technical college in California and ended her school career in Minnesota. Cheryl worked at numerous hospitals, nursing homes, group homes as well as personal home care; she truly loved taking care of others. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies and traveling. Cheryl will always be remembered for her cooking. She would make huge feasts for anyone who came over. Cheryl would also cook for many events and funerals. She had a weekly tradition with her best friend, Charlene, where they would go out for breakfast and play slots at the casino. They would also go on picnics with her son Georgie. Cheryl was a friendly, sociable, selfless, caring woman with a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Georgie LeBlanc and Jacqueline Santana; grandchildren, Franciso "Jr" Santana, Jesse Santana and Jazlee Antonia Santana; godchildren, Lawanda, Latoya, Pierre, Barry and Jennifer; special brother, Alvin Knope; stepdaughter, Bambi; best friends who are more like sisters, Ellen, Charlene and Kathy; and good friends, Aaron High as well as Paul and Penny. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her siblings, Randy and Charla; son-in-law, Franciso Santana Santillan Sr.; former husband and father of her children, Georgie LeBlanc; and parents, Roger and Goldie.

A memorial service for Cheryl will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday October 4, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 10:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at Gresham Public Cemetery following the service.
