Obituary

Cheryl Ann Ketchum, age 73, was called home on Thursday June 6, 2024, in Shawano. Cheryl was born on July 2, 1950, in Wisconsin to the late Anton and Loraine (Pevonka) Hoffman. In her free time, she knitted, sewed and quilted, she was an absolute perfectionist when it came to crafts. Cheryl enjoyed canning and baking her mouth-watering desserts. She loved gardening and planting flowers especially peonies and marigolds. Cheryl always made sure the birds were fed and kept track of the wildlife antics. She was a collector of angels. Cheryl spent her time doing charity work making bag beds for those overseas and volunteering time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Holidays were always a fun time when all her family could come together. Cheryl's grandchildren were her world. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Ketchum; children, Rodney (Lorin) Ketchum, Bradley Ketchum and Wesley Ketchum; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brianna, Haley, Brandon, Hunter, Jacob and Aliyah; great-grandson, Wyatt; and siblings, Jeanette, James, Rosie and Rachel.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her siblings, Ruben, Carol, Rita, Shirley, Gilbert, Jancie, Francis and Lorraine; and parents, Anton and Loraine.

Private family services for Cheryl were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
