Cheryl Ann Klapste, age 76, of Shawano passed away on Wednesday June 11, 2025, at her home. Cheryl was born on August 15, 1948, in Shawano to the late Curtis and Maxine (Stroud) Inderdahl. On June 21, 1966, she was united in marriage to Richard Klapste in Wittenberg. Throughout the years Cheryl had many jobs including bus driving, meals on wheels and drove clients to doctor appointments through the ADRC. She owned a couple of businesses as well including Sleepy Haven Motel in Wittenberg and Morning Glory Distribution. Cheryl loved to travel with her family and friends. She volunteered her time with the AMVETS Aux. She adored animals, especially her dogs, Minni and Olivia.

Cheryl is survived by her former spouse, Richard; children, Tamera McCabe, Lynn Klapste, David (Jennifer) Klapste and Shelly (Greg Polzin) Klapste; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Matthew) Gray, Rachel Klapste, Jonathon Klapste; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gail Schopke; and special friend, Janet Wickman.

Cheryl is preceded in death by brothers, Curtis Inderdahl, Jr., and William Inderdahl; son-in-law, Mike McCabe; several great-grandchildren; special dog, Angelo; and special friend, Patronella Stoik.

Celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Sunday June 22, 2025, at Shawano American Legion from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
