Cheryl Ann Vallier, age 67, was given her wings to heaven on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Shawano. Cheryl was born on February 27, 1959, in Milwaukee, to Sharon Creapeau-Gardner and the late Jack Vallier. She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee then received her CNA from NWTC and went to beauty college, then became a truck driver mostly driving in North Carolina. In Cheryl’s free time, she enjoyed watching movies and playing board games. She was a beautiful singer and loved all types of music. Cheryl was a happy woman with a great sense of humor with a joyful laughter. She was protective of her loved ones and was always there for her family. She was a caregiver for her mom and many other family members. Cheryl loved her church and her faith and bible study was very important to her. She was a spit fire, kind, caring and charismatic woman.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Sharon E. Creapeau-Gardner; siblings, Florence (Kenny) Ninham, Jack Burke, Guy Vallier, Mark (Glenda) Vallier, Raymond (Jennifer) Vallier, Edgar Gardner, Jr., Delores Meek, Charles Gardner and Violet (Darwin) Gardner; special relative, Ann Eppler; close cousin, Oleyna Hirthe; special friend, Jan Pepper; nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Jackie, Tracy, Tammy, Christine, Guy, Jr., Donald, Mary, Mark, III., Christopher, Jack, Margaret, Krystal, Ray, Jr., Alana, Whitley, Sharon, Ashlyn, Natalee, Jay, II., Jurni, “Little” Violet, James and Monique; and fur babies, Precious and Buddy. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Jack Vallier; brother in infancy, baby Harold; and nephew, Mark, II.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with Pastor Matt Golie officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home in Gresham starting at 12:30 pm until the time of service. Burial will be held at Red Springs Cemetery in Gresham.
