Cheryl Ann Wojan, age 63, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born in Milwaukee on August 7, 1959. Cheryl was raised in Antigo by the late Robert and Violet (Leitzke) Wojan, who provided an idyllic childhood. Cheryl was a fiery woman that was a force to be reckoned with. She worked hard in everything she pursued and possessed an extremely caring heart. In her life, she was a jack of all trades which included being a horse jockey, an employee at the department of commerce in Shawano, truck driver, and animal lover. Cheryl spent time hauling potatoes and even transporting mobile homes. When she wasn't working, she would spend her time helping animals in need. Cheryl took care of all types of wildlife including geese, ducks, deer, and many other creatures. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Cheryl is survived by; her children Jason (S.O Deanna) Shanty, Aaron (S.O. Alicia) Shanty, Jared Lane, and Stephanie Burayi; her grandchildren Ryan, Mason, Jordan, Trama, Mira, Xadin, and one on the way; her siblings Robert, Bob, Lisa and Debra; her special friend Leo Daniels; her previous husband Randy Lane. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Violet, her birth mother Gale Paulish, and her niece Sabrina.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
