Obituary

Chris T. Borntreger, age 72 of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Shawano. Chris was born in Fairbank, Iowa on February 6, 1946, son of the late Toby C. and Mattie (Mast) Borntreger. On October 15, 1974, Chris was united in marriage to Anna D. Troyer in Medford, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Amish Church.

Chris is survived by: his wife, Anna; eight children, Susie Stutzman, Lizzie Ann (Zack) Morris, Daniel Borntreger, Mose (Kari) Borntreger, Marvin (Melissa) Borntreger, Mattie Borntreger, Katie Mae (Russ) Ebert and Toby (Alison Partanen) Borntreger; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and seven sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Two funeral services will be held in remembrance of Chris; 9:00 am, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Mr. Harry Bontrager residence, N3999 Hill Road in Bonduel with Mr. Eli Mullet officiating, with visitation on Saturday from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. A second service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Monday, September 10, at Maranatha Baptist Church in Navarino with Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Amish Cemetery in Bonduel.
