Obituary

Christine Mary Corn, age 64, of Keshena, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in Appleton. She was born on July 29, 1952 in Gillett. On October 3, 1970 Christine was united in marriage to Norman "Billy" Corn in Michigan. Billy preceded her in death on November 8, 2014. Christine worked as a CNA at several nursing homes. She enjoyed Christmas, flowers, gardening, decorating and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Rosa.

Christine is survived by: her children, Laurie (Irvin) Miller, Sherry La Chapelle, Norman Corn, Jr., Twila (Todd) Pecore, Roger Corn, Tammy (Donnell) Corn, Valerie (Reynold) Katchenago, Dean (Linda) Corn, Alison (Alex) Corn, and Samantha (Arnold) Corn; 34 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman "Billy" Corn; one son, David; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Neopit with Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Burial is in St. Joseph of the Lake Cemetery in South Branch. Visitation will be held at the Corn residence at N5630 Gus Corn Road in South Branch from 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 until the time of the service. A parish wake service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the residence.
