Christopher James Bruns

Christopher James Bruns, 8 month old son of Christopher C. Bruns, II and Amanda Rose Calkins, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Christopher was born in Neenah on September 17, 2018. Christopher was a very happy baby with a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. He was a much loved little boy who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by: his parents, Christopher and Amanda; his brother and best friend, Mason Bruns; his over protective big sister, Lilly Bruns; maternal grandparents, Amy (significant other Randy Searl) Quick of Oshkosh and Randy (Larayne) Calkins of Shawano; paternal grandparents, Shelley (Robert) Corey of Gillett and Christopher C. Bruns, I, of Wild Rose; great-grandparents, Sam and Carol Ninham and Rosemarie Bruns; aunts and uncles, Angeline, Jessica, Ric (Jamie), Christine (Chad), Cayla (Brandon), Ammen, Noah, and Amora. He is further survived by numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service for Christopher will be held at Life Church, 222 Mill St. Shawano, at 11:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2019 with the Rev. Michael McKinnies officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
