Christopher Lee Clache, age 47, of Cecil, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 8, 2024. Chris was born on October 11, 1976, in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Carlos "Pee Pa" and Lorinne (Wojahn) Clache. Chris graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School where he was active in football, track, powerlifting, wrestling and choir. Chris went on to the University of Wyoming where he continued his football career and studied education. He worked as a paraprofessional doing behavioral intervention for the Menominee School District. Chris was a dedicated coach.  He coached many sports including football, track and field, and wrestling.  Chris devoted his whole life to helping others.  He was a mentor and positive influence on so many students and athletes over the years.  He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Tara (Mike Gunn) Schucknecht, Tony (Cindy) Jungenberg, Tammy Stewart, David Claunch and Karen Gauger; a special nephew, Joseph Claunch; and a special niece, Rosanna Garcia. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering for Chris will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Friday August 16, 2024, from 10:00 am until noon. A celebration of life will follow at Jungle's on Main in Gresham from noon until 3:00 pm.
