March 28, 1944 – December 25, 2025
Chyrl Alma (Lepscier) Irving, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day after a brief illness. Born to the late Richard and Myrtle (Grignon) Lepscier on March 28. 1944, in Keshena. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1962 and later met and married her husband Wendell on June 3, 1967. He later preceded her in death on February 7, 2004. The couple moved to Chicago where they had their first son. Eventually, they moved back home to Keshena where they had two more children. Chyrl had always worked and held various jobs. For around 30 years she worked for Menominee County until her retirement. After she retired, Chyrl worked as a receptionist at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit. Chyrl enjoyed watching cooking shows and Days of Our Lives. She was always an avid Wisconsin Sports fan and especially enjoyed the Bucks and Brewers. She also would watch tennis from time to time. She loved cooking, watching the birds from her bird feeder, crafting, and going to the casino. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend and will be missed.
Chyrl is survived by: her children, Richard (Shannon) Irving, of Clintonville, Tim (Angie) Irving, of Shawano, and Kelly Irving, of Keshena; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Raven, Aria, Stephanie, Aiyana, Bella, Hunter, Madison, Haiden, Kadrian and Isaiah; her sister, Paula, of Las Vegas; her sister-in-law Lynn Skenadore, of Keshena. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, God children, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Wendell; her parents Richard and Myrtle Lepscier; her step-mother, Julienne Lepscier; her siblings, Edith (Hilary Sparky) Waukau, infant sister Lenore, Clayton "Brokie" (Mona) Skenadore, Marlene (Zeke) Keshena, Regina "Jeannie Bug" (Howard) Mack, Bernard "Bucky" Skenadore, JoAnn Skenadore, Richard "Dickie" Lepscier, Alex Lepscier and Gregory "Mike" Lepscier.
Services will be announced in the spring.
