Obituary

Clair William "Bill" Nelson, age 88, of Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Green Bay. Bill was born in Green Hurst, New York on February 1, 1930, son of the late Axel and Ethel Nelson.  After graduation from Bemis Pont High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy.  Upon his discharge, he attended the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.  He was united in marriage to Catherine Ryan, and she preceded him in death in 2013.  Bill worked for Westinghouse as a salesman until his retirement.  Bill loved traveling and traveled all seven continents.
Bill is survived by his nephew, David Driver and his sons and his special friend Pearl Kyle and her family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine and his parents.
A memorial service for Bill will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of services.  Memorials in Bill's name may be directed to any church, charity or humane society of your choice.
