Clifford D. Perry, age 92 of Shawano, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Shawano Medical Center after a short illness. Clifford was born on March 11, 1920 in Cecil, the son of the late Densel and Viola (Norman) Perry. On May 8, 1943 he married the former Olive Volden in Shawano. Clifford worked for A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for 27 ½ years, retiring in 1978 and moving to this area. Clifford was a real fix it man for family and friends and always looking for things that didn't work to make them run perfectly again. He enjoyed traveling and he and Olive would spend winters in south Texas. Clifford is survived by: his wife Olive; Children, Dennis (Rosland) Perry of Wauwatosa, Ronald (special friend, Diana) Perry of Bonduel, Allan Perry of Greenville, Cindy (Pat) Staniforth of Shawano; 8 grandchildren, Kelly Damrow, Nicole Perry, Michael Perry, Susan Belman, Melissa Stoehr, Amanda Fritz, Amy Staniforth, Keelan Perry; and 5 great-grandchildren, Brystol, Tyler, Mercedes, Kaitlyn, and Carissa. He is further survived by: his sisters, Jayne Deering of Wisconsin Rapids and Donna (Harvey) Moede of Shawano; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
