Clifford J. Wilber, age 80, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Milwaukee. Clifford was born in Keshena, on December 19, 1938, to the late Earl and Mary Margaret (LaFrombois) Wilber. He attended Shawano High School. Clifford proudly served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Karen James on August 29, 1992. He worked on the family farm and worked construction for Fluor Brothers Construction Company of Oshkosh. Clifford enjoyed turning circles in his stock car on the dirt track here in Shawano. He also enjoyed art work and spoiling his grandchildren, especially the two that were always with him Taylor and Truper. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, a 50 year member of the Local #539 of Green Bay, and a member of the Menominee Veterans.
Clifford is survived by: his wife, Karen; his children, Annette (Dan) Raddant of Shawano, Charlene Corey of Milwaukee, Aaron (Ronda) Wilber of Shawano, Suzanna (Brian) Wery of Green Bay, Kirk (Annette) Wilber of Green Bay, Carson Wilber of Keshena, Jeffrey (Kerry) Wilber of Keshena, and Darin (June) Wilber of Keshena; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Earl and Mary Margaret; and his siblings, Greg, Bruce, Sr., Rita, Theresa, Antoinette, Edwin, Eileen, Earl, Jr., and Louis.
A funeral service will be held for Clifford at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Fr. Joel Jores officiating. Military rights will be conducted by the Veterans of Menominee Nation. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Fr. Dave Barrett Hall on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 3:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday. A Parish Wake service will be held at Fr. Dave Barrett Hall at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2019.
