Obituary

Craig L. Colson, age 77 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday September 9, 2018 in Shawano. Born on January 19, 1941, he was the son of the late Lowell and Myra (Strong) Colson. Craig graduated from Shawano High School and then worked with his parents in the family business, Colson Furs. On February 5, 1972, he and Maxine were married in Shawano. Maxine preceded him in death on October 15, 2012. Craig was a baptized member of Hope Community Church. He enjoyed watching the Packers, fishing, karaoke and going up north.

Craig is survived by: his children, Kimberley (Brian) Ready of Gresham and Brian Colson of Gresham; three grandchildren, Melissa, Joshua and Brandon; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Avayah. He is further survived by Chuck (Mary) LaMarche and their children, Blair and Mandy and family, whom he was raised with, along with many good friends.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Maxine and his parents.

A celebration of life for Craig will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Shawano American Legion, 850 S. Lincoln Street in Shawano. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
