Creade Vernon Stueck, age 87, passed away on Tuesday October 10, 2023, in Green Bay. Creade was born on November 11, 1935, in Shawano to the late Reinhold and Rebecca (Gauthier) Stueck. Following high school in 1954 he joined the United States Army and receiving his honorable discharge in 1956. On July 6, 1957, Creade was united in marriage to Bernice Degener at St. Martins Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. He spent four years in Milwaukee before returning to the Shawano area as a sewer and water construction master plumber. Creade enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing cards, going to the casino and stockcar races. His trademark was giving a "thumbs up" to his great grandchildren. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events. Creade was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.

Creade is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bernice; children, Steve Stueck, Tammy (Randy) Burr and Shawn (Wanda) Stueck; eight grandchildren, Heidi, Tori, Tanner, Tera, Jacob, Kersten, Josh and Wendi; eleven great-grandchildren.

Creade is preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Rebecca; and siblings, Jessie (Harland) Owen, Bernice (Gordon) Wright, Don (Florence) Stueck, Warren (Pearl) Stueck, Elmer (LaVern) Stueck, Orville (Rosemary) Stueck and Archie (Karen) Schmidt.

A memorial service for Creade will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 21, 2023, at St. James Lutheran Church with Vicar David Kaiser officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until the time of service at the church on Saturday. Inurnment will be at Lake Drive Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #117.
