Crystal Marie Bear, age 40, of Keshena passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Appleton. Crystal was born in Shawano on February 20, 1982, to Chris and Bernadette (Pamanet) Bear. Crystal enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her dogs, Machcon and Kobe. She always had an open heart and was willing to help those who needed it. She enjoyed being outdoors taking long truck rides through the forest of the reservation and cutting firewood with her little woodsmen, Josiah Lee Notinokey, Talon Pamanet, and her significant other, Jordan Lee Notinokey. Crystal also enjoyed road hunting when Jordan jokingly asked for help. Most of all, family came first for Crystal and the time spent with them was special such as attending cookouts, birthdays and holidays. She was well known for her beading skills and the towels, potholders and masks she was sewing.  It was important to her to keep a clean home and she enjoyed cooking for her family. Crystal always wanted a garden during the summer months and loved the fresh vegetables she got from it.  She was a tender-hearted woman and easy to love. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her significant other, Jordan Notinokey; her children, Tyler Bear, Corey Bear, Neesha Cloud, Talon Pamanet, and Josiah Notinokey; her parents, Chris and Bernadette; sisters, Yolanda (Kinepoway Valliere, Sr.) Bear and Ashley Bear; and Godparents, Phillip and Jane Pamanet. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins that were as close as siblings.

Crystal is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bear.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at, W2931 Rabbit Ridge Road, Keshena beginning at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday.
