Cynthia D. Taylor, age 57, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Shawano. Cynthia was born in Sturgeon Bay on April 16, 1957 to the late William and Dolores (Ebert) Beyer. She loved caring for and helping people, which lead her to work as a nursing assistant for several years and later pursue her degree as a Registered Nurse. Cynthia loved gardening and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano. Cynthia is survived by her children, Cassandra (Jamie Besaw) Hodkiewicz of Shawano and Jesse Taylor of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Alexis, Hendrick, Mable Mae; her brothers and sisters, William F. (Donna) Beyer of Shawano, Brad (Marina) Beyer of Kewaunee, Beth (James) Trammel of Kaukauna, Michael (Audra) Beyer of West Bend and Theodore (Diane) Beyer of Milwaukee; her brother-in-law, Jack Swoboda of Madison as well as her aunt Darlene (Leon) Krake of Shiocton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bonita Swoboda. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
