Daniel C. Brown, age 59, passed away at his home in Gillett on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born to the late Richard "Dick" and Norrine (Nape) Brown on April 1, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois. Daniel graduated from Anitoch High School in Illinois. He worked at Gander Mountain as well as in the heating and cooling industry for over 40 years. Daniel was an avid disc golfer and fisherman.

He is survived by his children, Kyle Brown and Jessica (Bryce) Brown; granddaughter, Abbigale; the mother of his children, Janice; and brothers and sisters, Rick (Barbara) Brown and Cindy (Steve) Kuhn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura; and brother, Tim.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Dick Menning officiating. Visitation will begin at noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
