Daniel Anthony Freeman, Sr., age 30, of Keshena, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 30, 2024. Daniel was born on November 23, 1993, in Shawano to Constance "Connie" Freeman and Harold Kelley. He was a member of the graduating class of 2013 from Menominee Indian High School. Daniel lived in Menominee County most of his life. Daniel briefly lived in Milwaukee where he met the mother of his children, relocated back to Keshena where he permanently set roots and raised his children. He enjoyed spending time with his children, snowmobiling and four wheeling. Daniel was an active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit. He worked as a machine operator. Daniel will be dearly missed by everyone.
Daniel is survived by his significant other and the mother of his children, Holly Wayman; children, Daniel Anthony-Randle, Jr., Laveigha Rain and Annalecia Madelyn; mother, Connie (Colin Kelley) Freeman; father, Harold (Shayna) Kelley; grandfather, Clarence Freeman; siblings, Anthony Kelley, Evan Kelley, Dacian Kelley, Natawsha Kelley, Mikey Kelley, Cassandra Kelley, Melissa Kelley, Mariah Kelley, Makaylee Freeman, Krystal Kelley, Alexandra Cross and Jermaine Catfish. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Virgina "Rose" Waupoose.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday February 3, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Deacon Mark Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center on Thursday February 1, 2024, at noon and continuing until the time of service on Saturday.
