Darla Rose (Reiter) Perez, 36, of Keshena, Wisconsin started her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Darla was born in Green Bay, on August 9, 1983, to Burnell and Daryl Reiter Sr. She graduated from Shawano High School in 2002. She had a passion for working with kids and was pursuing a career in Early Childhood. Darla was a fun, outgoing, energetic person, and had a very contagious laugh. She enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She loved making trips to the casino and going on boat rides. She was an avid Friends fan, Brewer and Packer fan, and loved going to concerts. On January 13, 2006, she married Louis Perez III, together they had four children: Kaylyn, Jermaine, Louis IV, and Shaylee. Darla was known as a "super mom", dedicated to her children, and a devoted wife.
She is survived by her husband Louis Perez III; four children, Kaylyn Mae, Jermaine Louis, Louis Anthony IV, and Shaylee Skye; parents, Burnell and Daryl Reiter, Sr.; siblings, Melissa (Anthony Schmidt) Reiter, Daryl (Toleka) Reiter, Franny Reiter, Sandrea (Robert) Shawano, and Matt (Katie) Weso; Grandma Ruby Reiter; godparents, LeeAnn Corn and Frankie Reiter; god child, Jaylyn "Doll" Reiter; best friend, Terri Zhuckkahosee; special cousin, James "Jim Bob" Fish; the Cornelius Clan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She is proceeded in death by Grandma "Dolly" Edith Fish, Papa "Pike" Fish Sr., godchild and niece, Darylee Reiter, her cousins, Lafern Awonohopay and Courtney Cadotte, papa-in-law, James Smith, grandma-in-law, Patricia Perez, Aunt Eva Block, Aunt Lily Rigatuso, and Uncle Theodore "Boogie" Conger, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Neopit. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home, in Shawano on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the procession leaves for the cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
The family would like to thank the Froedert Hospital team of nurses and doctors who cared for Darla, Kathy's hospital guest house, and everyone who supported, made donations, and said prayers for the family.
