Darlene K. Bahr, age 75, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Appleton. Darlene was born on May 13, 1949, in Iola, Wisconsin, daughter of the late David and Stella (Paulson) Bahr. The Bahr family moved to Shawano in 1959 and built Bahr's Minnow and Bait Shop. Darlene graduated from Shawano High School with the class of 1967. She worked in the health care field for some time as a CNA and raised her six children. In her free time, she enjoyed singing karaoke, going to rummage sales, baking, and spending time with her family. She loved animals and held a special place in her heart for her cats, Sundance and Butchie. Darlene was a loving and caring mom and grandma who would do anything for those she loved. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
Darlene is survived by: her former husband, Curtis Bohm; children, Scott Bohm (Teresa Huebner), Kathy Buettner (Jeff Buettner), Brenda Rusch, Greg Bohm (Melissa Castellini), Kristine Theis (Brian Richter), and Kellie Bohm; grandchildren, Kyle Bohm, Kaylee Bohm (Will Jensen), Brandon Buettner, Krystal Buettner, Tessa Klatt (Tyler Klatt), Jason Rusch, Tiffani Bohm (Michael Keuschel), Paige Bohm (Kyle Buettner), Jagger Theis (Olivia Lorbiecki), Brooke Theis (Daniel Pobuda), Emily Knope, Gracie Ross, and Josephyne Ross; great-grandchildren, Bentlee Jensen, Noah Klatt, Carter Keuschel, Gracie Keuschel, Ameliayah Buettner, with another on the way; her siblings, Garwood Bahr, Richard (Pat) Bahr, Judy (Elton) Wendt; niece, Sherri Runge; nephews, Denny (Christine) Bahr, Joey Bahr (Linda Huebner).
Darlene is preceded in death by: her parents, David and Stella Bahr; a sister-in-law, Judy Bahr; and nieces, Tammy Stachowiak, Kim Johnson, and Michelle Pierce.
Private family services were held officiated by Pastor Philip Geiger.
