Darlene S. Ewen Darlene S. Ewen, age 73 of Gresham, WI, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home. Born on April 13, 1939 in Owensboro, KY, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell and Corean (Rhodes) Schwiekarth. Darlene grew up in Orlando, FL. In 1960 she was united in marriage to James S. Ewen. After marriage the couple moved to Palm Beach Gardens. Darlene later moved to Bruce, WI where she attended Bruce Community Church. Last year she made her final move to Gresham to be closer to her family. Darlene was a loving person who was very giving, loyal and compassionate. She enjoyed going out to dinner but her true joy in life was spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Darlene is survived by: her son, Stephen Ewen and his wife Rebecca Ewen of Gresham; 3 grandsons, Jonathan, Samuel and Aaron Ewen all of Gresham; and her former husband, James Ewen. Darlene was preceded in death by: her son, James Michael Ewen; and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Bruce Community Bible Church in Bruce, WI.
