Darlene A. Prey, age 88, of Clintonville, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Shawano. Darlene was born on February 18, 1927 in Gresham to the late James and Bessie (Richards) Fischer. On May 29, 1948 in Gresham, she was united in marriage to Donald C. Prey. Donald preceded her in death on December 29, 1990. Darlene and Donald farmed in the Town of Waukechon for many years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, where she was a founding member of the Ladies Aid. Darlene enjoyed gardening, cooking and quilting. Darlene is survived by: her children, David (Christine) Prey and Dennis Prey both of Clintonville; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Deanna) Prey and Michael (Erin) Prey of Shawano; and two great grandchildren, Madden and Saylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her parents, two brothers and one sister. Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 with Rev. Todd Jerabek officiating. A memorial fund has been established for St. John Lutheran Church.
