Darlene Jane Reif, age 90, passed away on Friday April 12, 2024, in Shawano. Darlene was born on June 5, 1933, in Gresham, Wisconsin to the late Jule and Meta (Duwe) Petrich. She went to Morgan Siding School. On November 3, 1951, Darlene was united in marriage to Billie Gordon Reif in the Town of Red Springs. The couple spent 41 wonderful years together before Billie's passing in 1992. She lived most of her married life in Waukesha, Wisconsin, before returning to Gresham in 1987 where the couple opened Bill and Darlene's Tap in Gresham. In her free time, Darlene enjoyed cooking, gardening and enjoyed time with her children, especially her grandchildren. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Darlene is survived by her children, Diana (George) Stanley, Linda Reif, Gordon Reif, Sandra (Johnny) Stutz, Gail (Jeff) Stutz, Loren Reif, Brenda (Oscar) Schultz, Donny Reif; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd (Rosemary) Petrich; and sister-in-law, Judy (Darty) Martinez. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Billie; daughter, Susan Kay; grandson, Keith Joseph Stutz; siblings, Leon ,Merlin, Howard, June, Joyce, Mary, Delores and Dorothy.

A funeral service for Darlene will be held at 11:00 am on Friday April 19, 2024, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with Pastor Roy Rinehard officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Gresham on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at Gresham Public Cemetery.
