Darlene R. "Dolly" Richards, age 79, of Gresham, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Pines in Embarrass, WI, from complications of a broken hip. She was born February 10, 1943, in the Town of Seneca, the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Stoehr) Watters. She was united in marriage on October 1, 1983, to Dan Richards who preceded her in death in 2016.

Dolly and Dan operated a farm in the Town of Herman until they both bought and ran Dan and Dolly's Country Bar for ten years. Dolly also worked in home care for the elderly and prior to that, worked at the Woodland Restaurant, Happy Corners Supper Club and various other places bartending. She loved gardening, flowers, playing pool, visiting and baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Laurie (Rick) Peotter, Darold (Sherry) Raasch and Christine (Luke) Onesti; grandchildren, Nick Asenbrener and Brent Berkholtz; stepchildren, David (Kelly) Richards, Jon (Lynette) Richards and Chris Richards; step grandchildren, Stefan, Kenzie, Bryce, Kaden, Ashton, Sterling, Brett and Kalah. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dolly was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ann; her husband, Dan; granddaughter, Holly; and daughter-in-law, Rainee. She was the sister of George Watters, Dale Watters, Levi Watters and Geraldine Fermanich.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham with Rev. Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:30 until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Herman.
