Darlyne C. Wright, age 83, passed away on Friday December 15, 2023, in Appleton. Darlyne was born on September 28, 1940, in Baronnett, WI, to the late Guy and Ruby (Richson) Pierson. She graduated from Cumberland High School. Darlyne worked at St. Paul Police Department as a secretary for many years. She was a huge baseball and football fan and always made time to tune in to listen to the Green Bay Packers play on the radio. Darlyne volunteered at the Lutheran thrift store for many years and had an eye for antiquing.

Darlyne is survived by her granddaughters, Christine (Wade) Schutt, Alyssa Groom and Heidi Bassette; great-grandchildren, Brody Schutt, Pierson Goodreau and Parker Goodreau; and siblings, Gloria Ann Dinkel and Jan Simplot.

Darlyne is preceded in death by: her parents Guy and Ruby; her daughter, Laurie Vomastic; her brother, Chuck Pierson.
