David A. Brath, age 66, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020 with his family by his side. David was born on February 9, 1954, to George and Fern (Vogel) Brath. He attended Shawano schools, and graduated from Shawano High School in 1972. David was united in marriage to Connie J. Krueger on September 17, 1977.

David worked at several area manufacturing companies throughout the years, and had a common employer with Connie, Phenix Manufacturing, when they met. He then delivered propane for Ferrellgas for 15 years, and his final 10 years of employment were in maintenance at North Star Casino, before retiring in 2019. Dave was also a member of the Shawano Area Volunteer Fire Department for 27 years.

David is survived by: his wife, Connie; his daughters, Liza (Brian) Briskie and Laurel (Kyle Williams) Brath; his grandsons, Dominick and Trevor Briskie; his sister, Carol (Michael) Turner; his brother, Stephen (Marlene) Brath; and brother-in-law, Elmer Schweda. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, his brother, Robert Brath; his sister, Judy Schweda; and his sister-in-law, Cecelia Brath.
