On August 8, 1964, David was united in marriage to Lillian Faulks at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton. He worked at Prudential Insurance then for D&D Landscaping before retiring at MCC Trucking. David and Lillian loved go on adventures and were able to visit Hawaii, Alaska and the Holyland. David had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to those around him. Known for his quick wit and perfectly timed one-liners, he could make almost anyone laugh, even on the hardest days. He had a generous heart and never missed an opportunity to offer a sincere compliment or make someone smile. David deeply loved his grandchildren and the special animals that were part of the family—Niko, Wicky, Sully, and Callie—who brought him endless happiness. His compassion extended far beyond his own family. He cared for his friends and welcomed his children's friends as if they were his own. With an open heart and an open home, David was always willing to lend a helping hand, believing that even small acts of kindness could make the world a better place. He was a giving and generous man who committed himself to fundraisers, volunteering at the hospital and the Green Bay Diocese food chairman for the Cursillo of Christianity for 15 years. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love for others will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
