Dean Francis Schuch, age 87, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Shawano. Dean was born on June 4, 1937, in Kewaunee, son of the late Adolph and Sylvia (Ramesh) Schuch. On October 14, 1961, he was united in marriage to Carol Gilson in Kewaunee. Dean worked as a home builder for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time up north.  He loved motorcycles especially riding in his younger years. Dean was a simple, humble, family man who was always helping his family and friends with remodeling and he was meticulous about his lawn. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed.

Dean is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol; children, Sharon (Eric) Larson, Steven (Brenda) Schuch and Susan (Scott) Shewmake; seven grandchildren, Kari, Shannon, Harley, Rochelle, Jessica, Jamie and James; 13 great-grandchildren, Beau, Hunter, Colton, Castin, Carter, Jackson, Shelby, Lucas, Dorian, Thea, Kodye, Autumn, and Mason; a nephew, Jeff (Cassandra) Wacek; and a niece, Kim Wacek.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Sylvia; his twin sister, Donna Wacek Brandt; and a brother, Ronald Schuch.  He was also preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Ramesh, Grandma and Grandpa Schuch, Uncle Francis, Uncle Gilbert, and Aunt Margaret, all of whom played an important part in his upbringing.
