Debra Jean "Panashikwe" Pamaska, age 60 of Lawrence, KS, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Baldwin City. Debra was born in Keshena, WI on November 13, 1958, a daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Jane (Waukau) Pamaska.  Debra is a veteran of the United States Army.  She enjoyed playing bingo, watching scary movies, cooking and reading.  Debra loved traveling, often taking small trips.  She was a member of Big Drum.  More than anything she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Debra is survived by: her children, Marcus (Amber) Pamaska of Mayetta, KS, Cory (Jessica Pikalek) Pamaska of Milwaukee, Marshall (Alison Wolf) Tucker of Neopit, Danell (Tanner Lira) Tucker of CA and Zach Pamaska of Shawano; seven grandchildren, Adrianna, Mimiquay, Manny, Giselle, Cayden, Marion, Abriella and one on the way named Gabriella.  She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Wendell Pamaska, Gerald Pamaska, William Pamaska, Rebecca Pamaska and Roberta Pamaska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by: her son, Reynold Pamaska; her parents; and two brothers, Jeffrey Pamaska and Gary Pamaska.

Traditional services will be held at Zoar Ceremonial Building beginning at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 when the procession leaves for burial at the Zoar Indian Burial Grounds. Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation and the Keshena American Legion Post #497.
