Obituary

Douglas John "Dee Jay" Peters Douglas John "Dee Jay" Peters, age 23 of Milwaukee, formerly of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Milwaukee. Born on September 18, 1988 in Green Bay, he was the son of Kathleen Peters. Dee Jay was a very smart and talented person who taught himself how to play the piano and the guitar. He loved to create his own music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved nephews. Dee Jay had a kind heart and loved all people and animals. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dee Jay is survived by: his mother, Kathleen (Jerald Wilson) Peters of Green Bay; 2 brothers, Anthony Paul (Laura) Peters, Sr. of ND, Jeffrey Lee (Jessica Hebb) Peters of Keshena; 2 nephews, Jordan David Peters, Anthony Paul Peters, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, rainbow friends, and friends. Dee Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with the Rev. Robert Rank officiating. Visitation will be held at the Richard Peters' residence located at W3008 Kittecon Road in Keshena after 4pm Tuesday until the procession leaves for the church on Friday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at the residence on Thursday at 7pm. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
