Delbert A. "Joe" Moon, age 70, of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Kansas, passed away on April 26, 2025, in Florida. He was born on November 23, 1954, to the late Charles and Irene (McGee) Moon. He entered into the United States Army and was proud to have served both in Korea and Iraq. He was married to the love of his life Beverly Bowen. He had 5 wonderful children. Joe spent a majority of his life living in Kansas and worked at UPS, Amazon and Pepsi. He also worked at Chrysler while living in Wisconsin. He later retired and moved to Florida.

Joe is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Tanya (Galen Staszak "Whitey") Kessinger, Raymond (Janet) Moon, Thomas (Jenny) Moon, Christina (Dave) Jones, and Larissa; several grandchildren; his brother, Robert (Barb) Little; his stepdaughter, Kelly (Matt) Bedura; his dog, L.R. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents Charles and Irene; his siblings, Freddie, David, Dennis, Dana "Sonny", Charlene "Polly" and Laura "Dee Dee".

A gathering of family and friends will be held on June 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham. Burial will be held following services at Red Springs Cemetery with Military Honors to be conducted by the Mohican Veterans and the Gresham American Legion Post #390.

In honor of his wishes and generous spirit, Joe was able to give the last gift of life and donate his corneas to Eye Donation.
