Delia A. "Dolly" Kohel, age 78 of Keshena, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Keshena. Dolly was born in Keshena on October 11, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Elma (Nunway) Brisk, Sr.  She graduated from high school and then attended college at Truman College in Chicago for 3 years.  In 1971, Dolly was united in marriage to Vernon Kohel in Chicago.  In 1981, the couple moved to Keshena.  She enjoyed gardening, making wreaths, crocheting and making star quilts.  Delia was active in the Menominee Community and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

Delia is survived by: her husband of 47 years, Vernon; her children, Varlie Brisk, William Brisk, Elda Brisk, Bernard Brisk, Jean (Allen LaRock) Elk, twins Debra and Diane Brisk, Annette Kohel and Vernon Kohel; her grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Mike Brisk, Doreen Brisk, Robert Pamanet, Menjon Brisk, Shawn Kohel, Warren Brisk, Lisa Kohel, Kenneth Brisk, Delia Kohel and Robert Brisk.

She was preceded in death by: two daughters, Lisa Brisk and Doreen Brisk; her parents, James and Elma; her brother, James Brisk; and one sister, Jean Sickler.

A funeral mass for Dolly will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Joel Jores officiating. Visitation will be held at the Kohel residence, N1867 N Star Path, Keshena, starting at 3:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 until the procession to the church on Monday. A wake service will be held at the residence on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
