Delores M. Caldwell, age 81, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 surrounded by her family in Shawano. She was born on June 12, 1943, to the late Mitchell and Wilde (Cuish) Caldwell in Keshena. Delores early on in life worked as a caregiver and transitioned into housekeeping for the Menominee Tribal Enterprises and the NTE Forestry Center in Keshena. When she wasn't working, she loved shopping and going to rummage sales. Delores was always known to be a wonderful cook and made delicious hearty dishes. Her family will always remember her chili, goulash, and especially her beef roast with potatoes. Overall, Delores loved her grandchildren and always made time to see them. She was a bright and happy woman that possessed a laughter that could fill a room. She had a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed.

Delores is survived by: her children Michael (Natalie Denning) and Herman Caldwell; her grandchildren Michael Jr. and Robert; her great-grandchildren Hazel, Summer, Delana, and Charlie; her nieces, Diane Hill and Oralann Caldwell; her great nieces and nephew, Shardae Bheda and her family, Peter Miller Jr. and his family, and Darrell (Grace) and their family.

She is preceded in death by: her parents Mitchell and Wilde; her siblings, Mary Caldwell and Orles Caldwell; her grandchild, Chad; and nieces, Candy Miller, Phyllis Caldwell and Kay Moreno.

A funeral service for Delores will be held on Saturday June 7, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Deacon Mark Fuller officiating. Visitation will begin at the Neopit Community Center started on Thursday June 5, 2025, at 3:00 pm and continue until the time of service. Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery following services.
