Delores E. Schutt, age 76 of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at a local nursing home. Born on September 23, 1934 in the Town of Belle Plaine, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Selma (Lange) Drews. Delores worked as a cook for the Shawano School District. On June 18, 1955 she was united in marriage to Frank W. Schutt, Jr. at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in the Town of Belle Plaine. Together the couple made their home in the Shawano area and were members of the St. James Lutheran Church. In her free time, Delores loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going to baseball and basketball games, gardening, and fishing. Delores is survived by: her husband of 56 years, Frank; 4 children, Cindy Beyer of Shawano, Kim (Jeff) Machmueller of Clintonville, Michael Schutt, Daniel (fiancé, Sharon Bohr) Schutt of Cecil; 9 grandchildren, Troy (Jamie) Beyer, Dustin (Corey) Beyer, Ryan "Buzz" special friend, Cassie) Beyer, Scott (Melanie) Machmueller, Nicole (Joe) Reese, Cortney Machmueller, Brandon Schutt, Zachary Schutt, Nick Schutt; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Duane "Duke" Drews; and 3 sisters-in-law, Bernice Drews, Myrtle Schutt, and Phyllis Schutt. Delores was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 sisters; and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Fred Zimmermann officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday from 4-7pm and at the church on Saturday after 10am until the time of the service.
