Obituary

Denise Elizabeth Kelley-Beson, age 60, of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Born on July 18, 1957 in Chicago, IL, she is the daughter of Edna Myra (Stewart) Kelley and the late Ervin Kelley.  On December 31, 1981, in Chicago, she was united in marriage to Charles Beson.  She worked at CRI in Shawano and American Red Cross in Arizona.  Denise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafts and DIY projects, repurposing furniture, traveling, exploring and going to the casino with her sisters.
Denise is survived by: two children, Jeffrey (Beth Doxtator) Beson of Green Bay and Gina (Richard) Chevalier of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Ariah, Richy and Apollo; her mother, Edna Kelley of Green Bay; five sisters, Pamela Ramey, Kathy Stitman, Maureen (Gary) Gast, Patricia (Rich) Koons and Bridget Kelley; one brother, Terry Kelley; nieces and nephews, Michael (Debbie) Abbott, Tricia Abbott, Lee Stitman, Jillian Stitman, Patrick Stitman, Marcie (Adam Brennan) Brown, Melissa (Elyzah) Byers, Gary (Kristina) Gast, Jr.; special friend, Sheldon Crow; her beloved dog, Reba; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Ervin Kelley, one brother Randy Kelley; and her former husband, Charles Beson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to cousin Jackie, friend Kim, special brother-in-law Gary, her numerous care givers including, Maggie, Kang, Unity Hospice and the St. Vincent Oncology team.
