Denise (nee LaRock) Tomow, age 48 of Milwaukee, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012. Born on March 22, 1964 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Diane (Schriener) LaRock. Denise lived most of her life in the Milwaukee area and in South Branch and worked as a medical assistant. When not at work, she loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed taking walks, camping, fishing, cooking and beading. Denise was a loving mom and a giving grandmother who will be sadly missed. Denise is survived by: her 3 children, Tara Tomow, Shawn Tomow, Kristin Tomow; the father of her children, Johnny Tomow; her companion, James Makurat; a granddaughter, Ava; a half brother, Dante LaRock; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the Terri Waupekenay residence located at 1444 Hickory Street in Middle Village from 4:00pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 until the procession leaves for the cemetery at 2:00pm on Thursday. Graveside services will be held at the St. Joseph of the Lake Cemetery at South Branch in Menominee County.
