Obituary

Dennis Wayne Cox, born on April 9, 1947, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the age of 69, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. Dennis married Stephanie Mann in 1975. He worked for AT&T for 25 years until retirement in 1994. They moved to Berry Lake and shared their love of the outdoors for 22 years. Dennis especially loved the birds of nature, woodworking and pontooning.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Stephanie; brothers, Jim, Fred (Jenean), and Jonathan; sisters, Barbara (Bob), and Nancy; brothers-in-law, Ed and Greg (Sandy). He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, including special cousin-in-law, Marilyn (Doug) and family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna and Bette; and sister-in-law, Nancy.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Swedberg-Zastrow Funeral Home, 414 S Warrington Ave, Cecil with Rev. Skip Robertson officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Shawano American Legion Post #117. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:30 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated.
