Diane Jean Tucker, age 73 of Neopit, began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, May 24, 2021. Diane was born on July 30, 1947 to the late Edmund and Vivian (Dickenson) Duquaine in Keshena. She attended Shawano High School and Truman College. Diane was united in marriage to Norbert A. Tucker from Neopit. She held many positions at St. Mary of the Lake School and worked at the Indian Center in Chicago before returning to Menominee County. She enjoyed music and attending powwows, picking lilies, driving in the woods and going to the falls. She loved her family dearly, especially spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diane is survived by her husband, Norbert; children, Troy (Shelly), Laurie, Sherry (Pannesehseh), Denise (Julio), Mary (Ed), and Norbert; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her parents; and one brother, Frank Sackatook, Jr.

A funeral service for Diane will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 am until procession leaves for church at 10:00 am.
