Diane A. Vanden Brook, age 82, of Bonduel, passed away on April 9, 2018 in Oconto Falls. Diane was born on April 10, 1935 in Bonduel, the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Knutson) Druckrey. She graduated from Bonduel High School and worked for Bonduel Telephone until her retirement. On May 23, 1959, Diane was united in marriage to George Vanden Brook in Bonduel. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1996. Diane was a volunteer for the Bonduel Archives. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, especially bridge and was an avid Packer fan. Diane was also a loving mother and grandmother.
Diane is survived by: two children, Julie (special friend, Steve Nowaczyk) Hoffman of Green Bay and Tim (Wendi) Vanden Brook of Bonduel; two grandchildren, Bradley (special friend, Malorey) Hoffman and Trey Vanden Brook; step-grandsons, Wyatt Reinke and Kody Reinke; one great-grandson, McClain; one step great-grandson, Brennan; two brothers-in-law, Jim Vanden Brook and Dave (Donna) Vanden Brook; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Dale and Chuck Druckrey; and two sisters-in-law, Pat Vanden Brook and Romaine Druckrey.
Funeral services for Diane will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Mark Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. A memorial fund for St. Paul Lutheran Church and Bonduel Fire and E.M.S. has been established.
