Dolores M. Kaliebe, age 85, of Shawano, passed away at her home on Monday, September 16, 2019. Dolores was born on June 8, 1934, in Rosendale, to the late Allen and Lorine (Borchardt) Ballard. She graduated from Rosendale High School in 1952. On November 22, 1954, in Rosendale, Dolores married the love of her life Alton A. Kaliebe. Alton and Dolores moved to the Shawano area in 1959. Alton preceded her in death. Dolores worked at All American Mineral for over 25 years as a bookkeeper and for over 30 years as a Mary Kay consultant. She is a member of Peace United Church of Christ. Dolores was involved in her community with the Red Hatters and the Shawano Writing Club.

Dolores is survived by: her children, Betty (Rick Utke) Kaliebe of Shawano and Barry Kaliebe of Denmark; her grandchildren, Sydney Utke and Allen (Christy) Kaliebe; and two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Dominic, her brother, Charles (Anni) Ballard. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Alton; her parents, Allen and Lorine Ballard; her children, Barbara, Benjamin, and Brian; and her sister, Carol.

A memorial service will be held for Dolores at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Gail Irwin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 pm until the time of service.
